also maybe use ULTA WINCLEANER ONE CLICK.
This is a cleanup utility that runs on command....not automatically...and does a DAMN fine job.
Cleans Registry of dead links...half files...u know...all the crap...and most other unwanted files.
Also in your profile...(DOC's and SETTINGS) is a hidden folder....LOCAL SETTINGS....in there is a temp file....keep that clean (its where the PC stores is temp files used with your virtual memory...loads files into there its using....but fills up).
Also clear the TEMP INTERNET files.
Now your PC is FLYING!

This will make ur pc not nescary faster if u use win xp.
Windows XP uses 64kb parts of the registry and ONLY loads parts that are known/created by windows. So the size and the amount of entries in the registry doesn't affect windows speed at all.
It is very good to have some free space on ur hd, but windows runs with less free space as fast as with lot of free space. Only programs that need hd space like sequencers, burning progs, video editing for example are faster if they have enough space for creating temp files. If there is not much space for temping the progs will have problems.
Be careful with these 'Cleaners' and always be sure to have a backup of the deleted srtuff. Fastly a important reg key is seen as unimportant trash and get deleted and then u get the problems with the prog that needed this key.
Peace

No this folder is something i've downloaded from internet and probably font characters are japanese or east asian ones, so my system can't recognize the fonts in folder's name. I can't delete that folder it has nothing to do with registry or temp folders! |

Well it is nice trick indeed but it's not working in my case! This folder is not process running background so you can restart and delete it before it loads again. It is just some error folder, i think solution will be to install japanese language support and then delete this folder out of my system, not sure it will help thou. |
