You send an SMS with a specified set of figures/letters (123124515ABC) to some number (usually 4-digits), and the price of what you download is added to your tel. bill. |

I was considering to implement a SMS solution on resonantearth.com but the fees associated with such services is too high. At least for my site it would be aginst the idea of the site to have more than 50% of the money paid ending up in the hands of a telecom company.
Even if the customers would be happy to pay more than double compared to using a service like paypal it's hard to find a provider that covers enough countries and does not have a hefty annual/monthy fee on top on the per transaction fees and thereby making it a loosing proposition for a small operation like mine.
