i've been on hiatus for the whole summer practically- i go back but i just haven't been inspired due to realizing the overwhelming amount of music coming out and the virtually insignificance of my adding more tracks into the oversaturated system...
im always doing something towards my further development in music but i now have the whole winter to get back into it. wish me luck.

@ for flute/woodwind sounds i've been really digging the Reaktor ensemble- "Steam Pipe" - ultra preemy and breathy...

@ record your own: ive tried recording woodwinds but always with really low volumes that then processed really sound bad- any advice?

I'm now writing tunes after a bit of a forced hiatus as well (no computer), and I was finding myself getting bored with what I was doing, but now that there have been some improvements in my life, both musically and non, I'm finding myself returning to the studio with renewed vigor.

I never thought taking a break would do me good, as I feel like I write my music like a diary, but it kinda has helped me a bit to get back into perspective of what I do and what I want to do.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
