Real flute.
Vst just doesn't cut it when it comes to woodwind sounds.           .............................................

Although the best flute sound i've heard from a vst would have to be the woodwind presets in Gladiator.           .............................................

thanks for the leads, btw. will try.
i tried to find a nice flute and failed. though it is not about the sound itself, its more about articulations.

on topic: well, i realized, long ago, that i have to take pauses after i finish a track before starting a new one. i feel like a sponge, which is being squeezed out after a track, and i don't mean squeezed physically or mentally - only creatively, if you know what i mean. i take a pause of a week, or more, and continue.
some years ago, after spending more then a decade for musicmaking, i stopped dividing the process of creating music to periods (like pauses or vacations or creative storms). i create all the time, whether it is in my computer, various studios where i work, in my mid when i sing a lullaby to my kids (which if used correctly may really help with creating new melodies and leads), or driving a car.

I made a lot of pauses trough my music life... Sometimes even for 6 months.

Nowadays I usually create every 3 days and sometimes every 2 weeks.

We do music when it calls us to do it not when we decide to do it, thats why deadlines dont work very well among musicians.

Well I never made a complete pause, but for the last 1.5 years I didn't make a lot of tracks, actually there are two tracks and arround ten unfinished ones

The problem is, I don't have enough time for producing at the moment. I'm studying since two years and I'm going to too much Partys. Of course I could spend 2 hours a day, but I hate it to make music with an "expiry date" I mean your just really in the mood, everything is going great and then you stop after a short time because you have to...that sucks

Sorry I'm just a bit frustrated...

I have a pause every day: When I am forced to go to work for 8-10 hours and do a job I more and more dont like
I could do so much more music stuff, but well....no job no money...

Except that I try to do music stuff every day. Its fun and I need way more practical expierience. Ofc there are days where I just cant...when my mood is bad or I need to do other stuff.

these are the circumstances where i'll usually stay up producing and go to work after only 3-4 hours of sleep

but consider yourself lucky: my hard drive died a week ago and in the last few days i've had lots and lots of inspiration and ideas for music, but no producing environment.
with a bit of luck i'll have everything back and running again in a few days, but there days are soo looong.
