I´m new in cubase and I wonder if there is a pattern(step)sequencer similar to the matrix in reason. I know the stepsequencer, but as far as I know thers no possibility to copy the steps to the track.
Thanx

in cubase you do that in the piano roll, you just have to set the size of the bar, and play it loop if you want to.

There's no built in step sequencer in cubase. But i've been told (H2O )there are tones of dx/vst sequencer plugins u can use. Moreover u can use rewire to load reason as a plugin to cubase or even load fruity as a vst for your sequencing ease

Yes, there is. Its the Midi-Plugin called "step designer". But I do it like Lithium and use the KEY Editor (I think you meant that, didn't you?) with the built in Loop-funktion.

If you copy the matrix to the arrangement (Track) in Reason, and save it as a midi-file after, u can import it in any sequencer. |
