Hi, this is Moonclear and I would like to figure something right now: I'm figuring ththere have been lots of parties .. On a flyer recently I saw some prose to the effect that parties in New York (City) were not so known a few years ago, well in my experience this is less so than the alternative viewpoint, which comprises weekly parties in the city well through the 2000s. It was in the nineties that events were monthly. I am quite sure, as I spent some time working on my senior thesis at the time and I went to the city every month (or two). Meanwhile there have been many weeklies other than Psychegrounds. I think it was in 2001 that I once went in one week to four trance weeklies, Monday through Thursday. Also, during the time mentioned by the flyer, Alladin Project parties at Club Exit were pretty much monthly. There have been many other parties. I'd like to mention TDC, who had awesome parties at Club 7, Rebel, and Station 171. So basically, there have been parties .. hopefully all the people who ought to find these things out, will .. it's great .. I definitely hope the scene will stay healthy and fluorish. Love and peace!

Actually, what with Psychedelic Mondays at Vain and all, probably things were more rife in the nineties than I made out! Long love!! Peace, Moonclear

Right now I'd like to mention two of my favorite crews from the early days: Acid Phisixs, who had the true vibe, and Alphatrance, who were very professional organizers and brought me the best new years Ev-ah. This is all from well over a decade ago. - There have really been a number of parties in NYC.

I think that parties and organizers always benefit from the people's implementing high standards.

The quajillions of parties in NYC are a thing to be cherished.

At this juncture I must insist on better sound. We should have sound like it was in London when I was there; they had the best sound.

In the Goa scene since 1995, I have partied all over the world; and I definitely encourage all the true trance to the same.

Do you think that what's going on in New York is special? I think so. A positive attitude is most important here.

One thing we could do is get the record stores to actually sell the music; that would impress me.

The scene self regulates.

If only all the DJs would appear as booked! It would make a concrete difference, I am telling you.

Up with New York then.

-This compleats the soliloquy of Moonclear.-
