Hi mates,
I am writing this mail because I will be in Thailland for 10days from the 06april 2003 to the 18th april approximately and was wondering if anybody could help me .
I am a dj and music producer for Mechanik sound records and would like to know whether anyone has contacts of some trance party promoters there .
I will be very grateful if somebody could help me ...

it does not look good in thailand now.they have a new goverment which forbid partys which are longer than 2 o clock in the night.they are also trying to get thailand drug free inthat time by executing hundrets of drugdealers.

I just came home from Thailand. The party sceen is still going fully on.
But the country DO have a hard drug policy,but mainly in the big city´s as Bangkok and Chiang Mai. And YES....the goverment also say that everything stops at 2´clock, witch it does in the NORMAL (brrrr) bars and stuff.
If you go to Koh Pan Nang the partys ther are still going on strongly. And in the "Full moon partys" they DONT stop at 2 ´clock. It goes on until the next day..... Also the days before and after the full moon party the Hat Rin beack us loaded with party people, and SOME of the partys realy rocks!!! Basicly.........you can find partys every day.If not on the beach, its in the jungle or by the waterfalls...........FOR SURE!!
But do note,that the days folowing up to the famous "Full moon partys", the police is VERY hard on the party people. If you are driving at night, the chance for getting court...is pretty big. So stay low profile, and enjoy the beautiful island.
I did not experienced any problem with the police on Koh pan nang.....just be careful, and enjoy the partys.
P.S If you go to a place called "Tommy´s bar" on Hat Rin beach, you will find some local party organizers, who can help you, if you want to play. But bacicly, Hat rin is loaded with people making partys all the time. and it is imposible not to ran into them,if you are Psy interestet.
