so , whats your opinion about the RIGHT way to put up a party or festival?
from all aspects.. DO's & DONT's...
DO
make sure to be respectful to nature
make sure all the people are safe - security , medical etc.
get djs and artists only for their music
DONT
leave the area before its totaly clean
forget that the crowd are people you invited and they are your guests
publish the event everywhere and say its "friends party" , no one have that much friends , and frankly , i dont even know you lol  www.sattelbattle.com

make sure that before u book dj or artists ... u have the money ( and pay him )
everytime leave some space for new artists
get great soundsystem
do everytime something new to ur parties
have funn with artist before the party and not put him in a flat staying all the time there
DONT
leave children come alone
sell bad beer ( just its cheap )
forget " happy hour "  ehhehe

in my experience you need several kinds of people to throw parties.
You need... (replace "he" with "she" as applicable)
"The Visionary" - The guy who comes up with good themes and ideas for parties and presents them to others. This guy will know which artists to book, how to decorate the venue, and will probably also be good at promoting the party since he'll put real passion into describing it.
"The Eagle Scout" - Always prepared, always willing to help his comrades. Stays cool in any situation, knows how to direct others and get things done efficiently. Need a screwdriver? Flashlight? Pocketknife? Need to know how to tie something down the best way? This guy can do it.
"The Really Rich Guy" - You KNOW why you need this guy 
"The well-connected guy" - Knows lots of people, can get you stuff cheap/for free, can call in favors with venue owners and government officials, can get you good security guys and good promotional avenues.
Find out which of these you are and then find the other ones! |

DO (aside of what was already mentioned)
find a good and hopefully virgin spot in the nature
build a lineup which has variety and adequate time slots for the different artists (night acts, morning acts and afternoon )
try building a theme for the party or really put alot of effort in the deco (imo too many parties today neglect this part)
hand out freebies like fruit or gummy candy and of course some water - it always makes everyone feel even better
as organizers - make sure that you dance with your crowd - get connected to them
ill try to focus only on the positives |

I think all has been said...
...And maybe besides what you gain to pay the artists, try to make more profit to be able to pay the fine to the police, he he. Depend in wich country you are. In switzerland we have to actually. |

right way-
The location must have a hospital near by
Camping gear should be available for rent at the festival- 20euros a day for tent and sleeping bag, no price increase
There should be water body, lake river ocean, sorry streams are no good...rapids are best
Have Google as a sponsor
Give free bread, wine & water
Have some animals like horses mules camels etc so if someone wants to ride them they can
its amazing fun when ur high
Have a place where those seeking lust just gather
When the headline act is about to play please make loud announcements and wake up people who are inside their tents..i missed so many headliners at so many festivals because i went for a nap
Hire photographers who roam around so that i dont have to worry about taking pictures and loosing my camera and can go crazy.
Have a separate area where people can dance naked.

put some kg s crystals 4 weeks before the party happen, in some 1 meter deep holes in the dancefloor and cloose the holes with earth after.
clean the dancefloor manytimes with salt,
this keeps the devil away, hehe.
meditate on the dancefloor one week before and smoke a serios earthhole before with ur crew !
dont play fullon at ur party!!
do not work with contracts!!!
dont pay artists before the party happen, but pay them when they arive, so they are happy and play fullpower!
make sure that the party is one trip (timetable+lineup)
make sure that the party not get in contact with police
killa soundsystem!
good cheap beer!
