I am traveling to Brazil and would love to make it for a nice small party; i will be in Salvador for a week or so around mid august.
Anything happening around that time in the area?

mid august there will be parties out of salvador, in other cities like ilheus, paulo afonso for example.
if is possible to you, i really recommend that you come and stay until september 6,7,8, to Pulsar Festival!
