Partner/mentor in making psy?

I was wondering, if anyone would want to collaborate and do something. Preferably some one near my own level (i.e. a beginner), so we could learn. And because I wouldn't want to waste an experienced person's time.

Sadly I only have the FL Studio Demo (my purchase was on backorder).

If anyone is interested that would be great. I'm working on this for a year long project in my senior year, so I will spend time on it (and give credit to who ever helps).

Thanks.

with so much info on the web , hundreds of forums , sites , videos etc .. that can be quiet enough to give you the push u need to start .. Im not very good with making music etc ..but I learned alone .. + the idea is just to have a bit of fun , u don`t have to want to be a big name to learn ...so u can go it alone .. anyway , in my previous post , I said `until u find someone..` .. so , no reason not to get cracking if u don`t have someone to show you how

when I started to mess around synths i had to figure out a lot of things by myself and it took me a long lot of time to do it. In the end it proved to be really simple.

When I started riding the bicycle i used to keep looking down and trying to keep balancing by shifting my weight on the sit. Resulted in several bruises and swolen knees. But as soon as I had someone helping me by yelling not to look down and keep my back straight I was riding alone in no time.

It is always possible to learn things alone but it's faster to have the proper guidance.           Jesus loves you...

different people prefer different ways of doing things...
I am more effective when i'm alone, someone is more effective when not alone, that's all ok           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

Medea

Do you mean actually doing things or Learning things? cuz maybe then it would be like u'd rather understand things by urself better than having someone explaning it to u.

For me it's always better to learn from someone. But doing things you already know how to do together with a partner is a great pain in the ass sometimes... at least for me. Specially when both you and your partner have that special "my way is better than yours" kinda colaboration           Jesus loves you...

youll get there eventually anyways. I never had anyone to show me anything... but you sit and try enough times, and read on the net and instruction manuals, youll get there over time.

Good luck, and enjoy all the inspiration you have now!           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

its more than half the journey to learn how lots of things work.....

But of course you need help sometimes and guidance!

Kvr and this forum has been great, so many clever musicians and technicians...

Now go get the tools and dig in

that's what I mean. Learning things out of nowhere whitout any guidance is way slower.

In the beggining I used to search for swoosh samples across the internet and always asked myself how did they do that. Then after 2 months ( yes im that slow ) i just figured out how to do it using a synth and filter.

If only there was someone to tell me how to do basic things like that I would have spent a lot more time improving the sound not just trying to learn how to do it.

You know what I mean?

search the forum up and down and if u can't find what ur looking for than ask it. but the best way to practice indeed is trying to make simple tracks from beggining to the end.           Jesus loves you...

we can arrange, the next Boom 2010 to make an "Equipment & Music Creation - Isratrance" kiosk and make the forum live
