Half Moon party is in a beautiful space, outdoor club sort of set up in jungle setting in Ban Tai, Phangan. The music is commercial full-on but this is what it is like for every Thai party.

Black Moon is definetly the best IMO, on the beach at Mac Bay Resort in Ban Tai. Bit smaller than the Half Moon and if youre lucky you might even hear some progressive music.
Still clear of the Full Moon parties in Phangan, you will need to go south to Ko Lanta for good full moon parties, but they are not regular. |

In koh phan gan u can find a different psy-party everyday!Jungle party,half moon party,blackmoon party,paradise waterfalls party 
its a party island.But i would recommend u not to go to the full moon party-very commercial..and not psytrance.If u go on fullmoon date check if there is a jungle fullmoon party(much better) 
enjoy!
