Parties/Promoters in San Francisco and NYC in November

Hi
I'll be stopping in at San Francisco and New York in November as part of my round-the-world-travels, and am looking for information about any good psychedelic parties that may happen around that time, and details of any promoters in those areas.
I'm happy just partying but I'm also a DJ for Baraka here in the UK (www.barakasphere.com) and would like to get in touch with party organizers and promoters to see if there's any slots on the decks for me! (my forte is groovy full-on but I'm equally happy spinning funky progressive psy-trance and house, or mixing it all up...).

not to be offensive bro, but i dont think your name is recognizable enough over here for anybody to jump on it
Im sure once your around you can hook up with a gig at a weekly but
maybe pass on a demo and a link to a gig history so some folks can see whats coming into their neck of the wood....

No offence taken mate, wasn't expecting a flurry of desperate promoters in my PM box! 
As I said I'm happy just partying and was hoping some US ppl could provide general info on the scene over there, or maybe if anyone knew of specific parties going on...of course some might say 'do some research on your own', (which I have done), but thought it was worth putting my queries out there to see if any helpful ppl can point me in some useful directions!
