hey Tatta,

yeah, to get started, try the following:

1) start from an init patch if possible
2) add one oscillator with a SAW waveform
3) route it to a lowpass filter (use a low cutoff, experiment with this after step 4)
4) add a filter cutoff envelope and add some depth to its modulation of the filter cutoff: set the attack as small as possible, sustain low (experiment), now, lower the decay to your liking, set the release to zero.

the idea here is that the envelope quickly opens up the filter but then quickly closes it again, this gives you an attack transient to the bass.

so, this is the simplest approach to make a bass sound, and if you understand it, you can go from there.

hope i was able to help,
cheers,

Not sure if this is much help to you, but you can try an sysex the Deedrah bank, From what I remember it had some good psy full on bass. Its a good place to start.

check

http://www.deedrah.com

you just load the midi file in your sequencer and press play and it will upload the sounds to your nord.

I kind of agree with Greententacle, the Nord is such a good synth and the best way to get some cool sounds is tweak and try different knobs

Not so sure about more dumps. You can search in google, maybe some other users have made some and posted on the net.
