there are some parameters on my AN1X which i want to control via midi but i dont know how to. specifically, i wantedd to set the exact components of reverb via midi and alter them, ie: time, level, etc.
i can adjust these on the AN1X with the control panel while recording on midi, and it records the changes, bt i dont seem to be able to find where these changes have been recorded, on NRPN or anything, and the manual doesnt seem to say anything much relating to nrpns.

can anyone help, or tell me where i can get this information from?

I'm using the CS1x, a rompler version of the AN1x. Maybe it's similar?
Anyway on the performance sounds controlling the type of reverb thru midi is impossible. You need to control it on the AN1x and save the performance. You can control the amount of reverb applied on both performances and multi sounds using MIDI controller 91 (93 if for chorus if you're interested).

i don't know what sequencer you use, but in Cubase
you can do this easily,
all the controls are Sysex messages information,
so you need to enable sysex input/output in tyhe sequencer,and when you record something the settings of effects will be recorded too.

but u must 1st to disable sysex msgs filtering:
options->midi options->filtering, uncheck sysex
[cubase ignores them by default]

if u use logic/cakewalk, it must be the same more or less :-)

hope this helped

There are no sysex filters by default, so if you didn't set them they shouldn't be there. But you should try this too.
Another thing:

Try to see if it sends MIDI data by looking on that tray icon. Tweak some knobs, change some parameters and see.

no, it doesnt send them as midi, im certain, ive done a recording of a part with changes in, and then trawled through all the midi command parameters and there was nothing there, even though it definitely recorded the changes

Well everything it records is in the MIDI Events screen. Right click in the events screen and make sure everything is checked (V). It will show everything recorded, if it's not there and it still changes the sound then something is wrong. Try to record only the changes without anything else. Maybe it will show up?
