Hey guys, i wonder whats the correct\best way to pan WAV samples or VST notes from left to right?
As for the samples i use both Groove agent one and Battery 3 and i enter the ket editor(piano roll) and i just use the pan settings and draw from up(left) to down(right) and its not working correctly. I mean its not completley moves from side to side i can still clearly hear the sound in the center.(maybe im drawing not good?)
As for the VST i do the same but most of them dont even pan a little....i mean it just dont work.
Any suggestions?Thanks!

On the mixer channel you have a pan button. Use that one. That should be working from hard left to hard right. You can also automate it.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

no. i don't know why but Battery have a 'bug' and you cant do normal panning. some time ago i tried many tricks without success. now i use drum samples on audio tracks if i need pan auto           http://www.beatport.com/release/cross-the-atoms/1042450

With Groove Agent 1 you can pan each cell/hit differently which might be more convenient. Or you can output each cell to a different channel on your mixer but to do that I think you need to load the VST into your F11 window and work off a MIDI track, not an Instrument track.           www.facebook.com/chemogen

Alien Bug,and how about panning VST Synths in the piano roll?Does that work good for you or you have the same bug?

Chemogen, thanks but i couldnt understand how to do what you said the groove agent 1.
And what i'm trying to get is a different pan of each hit/note is it possible with Groove agent 1?

There is an "Auto pan" FX in Cubase which actually doing a good job but it pans all the track ;\
