on the subject of panning...
bass, kick, most other drums dont get panning... almost everything else does, right? |

I really like the Sonitus Surround effect. You can do simple panning and circular panning, 3D panning etc ... You can set your own path and speed. Very nice. I use it alot.
s0ft: I'll pan everything and anything ... I use ALOT of layers so it is nice if everything is nicely spread arround the stereo field. Preferably moving arround too. 
just see if it works.
