hello isratrancers,
is there an easy way (in cubase) to make midi notes panning left/ right alternately, like ping-pong? e.g. the first note gets the panning value 34, the second 94, the third again 34 and so on (I don`t talk about a lfo-based continuous panning)
automating each note is very time-consuming and leads to mistakes easily. I wonder if there is a plugin or a similar method that does the job.
thanx in advance,
martyn

maybe some sx guru can tell you an easier way, but I like it the energy xt way.
energy xt is a modular host, you can load it as vst into cubase and voila you got a modular subhost. Inthere you'll find alot of useful midi plugins, you can set up switches, lfo or patternbased automation and on and on and on. Did I say that you'll instantly get the best arpeggiator on the world with it? Check out the site: http://www.xt-hq.com, grab the demo, check the user forum at kvr: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=36
and say out loud: thank you jorgen! |

thanx for your help!
yes, auto pan is lfo based, the best way for syths that don't have the desired function still seems to be the manual panning.

you could make the first to notes, then copy/paste them so they are in the correct rythm. then activate the midi button in the top right side and press ctrl+A to mark all notes - then you can use you midi-keyboard (assuming you have one) to play the pitch og each note.......thats my best shot on doing this quick. |
