Panick is Nick Laniado(25) from sde-varburg, israel.
His debut album "Rocket pocket" is about to be released in the begining of march in phonokol rec.
his style is powerfull psychodelic trance, melodic with very "big" sounds and a very high standart production.
releases till today :
"Soul calibur"(Adrenalin 1 - phonokol).
"Hollow"(Adrenalin 2 - phonokol).
"Ultramagnus"(Intelligence - shiva space jp).
"Cheesy poofs"(Think sync - com.pact).
He also collaborated with PSYSEX in their album "Hardcore blastoff".

the punisher is a dance floor smasher,i couldnt stand still the first time i heard it, same goes with time flash which is a powerfull track that just kipping hitting you again & again. dicographix is a great track, with unresistable rythems,great bass line (panick specialty) and the melody that comes after the break is very uplifting, again a dance floor killer. hollow was released before and is another very powerfull track to play in those morning times. mutant academy is a bit different, slower, and more complexed, still the groove is there, and its another interesting track, this one needs more than 1 listening to understand. ultra magnus is yet another dance floor pumper with the usual panick sound.
this is what i heard, i am sure the rest of the tracks are in the same level. panick is producing great bass lines, a lot of groove and jumpy rythems, and uses some great sounds to go with his morning style melodies.
i recomend this album to anyone who can appriciate good & interesting music, and to any dj who wants to pump up the dance floor at morning hours. |
