well you guys, the party was a hit!
i got there with guy and we waited till the prop manager could set the lights on properly. guy gave a beautiful, dark, minimal in a way, eerie set, which was interrupted by 2 power failiures due to the lights... guy told me earlier he would incorperate at least 4 of his tracks in the set. now, since i don't know guy's music all that well, i couldnt tell.
Cosma arrived at about 1:00, which was about the time he was supposed to go on. just than the crowd began to grow in numbers.
Cosma gave a brilliant set, making the crowd scream in some points, and dig hard on the concrete floor at others. the venue in itself is very good: an old greenhouse, no roof (so u can see a sunrize), great ol` concrete floor, flat, big red pillars, excellent sound system, and top notch security.
when Xerox came, and started playing, cosma left for a party in Golan Beach. Xerox gave a tremendous set, which made this chick come to me (i was sitting in the DJ console most of the night, too tired to dance), and asked me to tell him that he can stay till 12-13:00.. they loved him that much. ppl on his set took their shirts off (pity i cant say the same fer the girls ;-)) and sweated thru the night.
when Astrix came on, i began feeling the signs of fatigue. so i went outside and cought a ride back to tel aviv.
so if any of you guys thought that this partys sucked, i can tell you 1 thing. it didnt. at least not musically. yes, the crowd was shimons by large, but they were a great crowd (ask shanti), giving all their soul into it. |

well Jason your last sentence kind of sums up my
impression from the party.
I was one of the few (very few) non shimones
in the party.
I was a little annoyed by the price of the party... and the fact that the bar people just
ran away somewhere around 4:00
but but but
the music was grate !!!
I can't tell how long I waited to get
that king of energies from the D.J console.
the lady that came with me just couldn’t stop
dancing ( you could see her dancing near the back speaker - avoiding the shimons).
so to some things up my way: good good good music
,not so good organization

my 5 cents:
we got there early and the place was very empty. I played till 1.00 (and I only managed to play 2 trax of mine) and Cosma appeared all rushing and in a hurry cuz he was supposed to go to Golan Beach to play sunrise at a big party there. so we switched quickly so he can finnish the set and go to the Kineret. we (my GF and myself) thought about going to the Kineret too (it was our 1 year anniversary). Avichen gave a very good night set. first time I heared him play dark and I was suprised. his mixing was alot better then i last remembered.
when he finnished the set (at round 3.00) he got a message saying that the Kineret party is canselled so we took ourselves to the beach, made a tent, made some coffe, rolled a spliff and enjoyed life.
