Anyone have tips on how to get that ethereal-vocal sound with the pads? I associate the sound I'm thinking of with Ultimae to some degree...

maybe you could use delay and reverb on the sample with a long decay and release?

Play around with the attack, decay, sustain, and release sliders on your synth/softsynth (ADSR). Pads generally have slow attacks with long sustains.

No one knows what double the speed of 155 is?? 
I have a clip that lasts one full bar at 155..i need it to last half a bar. So it needs to go double the speed. |

Don´t know if it´s this your looking for..
Apply time-stretching by 50% then the full bar clip whill reduce to half it´s original lenght |

I think u just need some female choir sample and loads of reverb. Maybe layer with one or several sine waves. |
