You cannot move all your licenses on it..
its just like that some plugins equire it to work..you have to get an account on i-lok.com and then , if you buy such a plugin you will get a linkt to upload the license on your i-lok account, and then you can synchronize it.
i think its not a good idea at all..it can get broken or lost, or simply stolen..
cheers

i got a pace ilok.
yes it can be stolen or broken you can almost get all your licences back, read this - some user experienced.
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/moan-zone/163931-stolen-ilok.html
the cool thing is. i can take my ilok with me go to a friend plugin the ilok and can use the licenced software (in case he downloaded the software).
the ilok itself is very easy to use.
- you go to the delevope homepage
- you download the software
- you buy the licence for ilok
- you login on the ilok website
- you download the license to your ilok
- works!
you can also use a lot demos with full usability within a trial time.
i currently only run urs cs pro on the ilok.
the urs cs pro can easily stand against uad, waves-ssl and liquid mix. which ALL cost much more and they ALL have a dongle (its not about the dsp chips). and if that dongle gets broken or stolen, no one will give you a new one (after one year)
