In South Africa we have 11 official languages, but the translation for one of them in Afrikaans...
Peace - Vrede
Love - Liefde
Unity - Eenheid
Respect - Respek |

I'ts cool to see that apperantely one of the southafrican language is very similar to dutch. I already knew about this but still,... |

It's because the dutch people colonized a lot of shit back there... You should know your history buddy

Yip, true Lepton & Acidhive...VERY similar  Afrikaans originated from dutch - I guess over the years it just transformed into something slightly different & a language of its own

... actually, the closest European language to Afrikaans is Flemish...
in Zulu (another SA language):
peace = ukuthula
love = ukuthanda
union = umhlangana (don't know what the word for unity is)
respect = ukuhlonipha |
