Hi,
will be in Budapest on 8th morning & will catch the train to Simontornya. I have three questions , will be grateful for reply as it will help me plan my trip greatly:
1) How many trains are there from Budapest to Simontornya (is there like only one train in a day & if so at what time or more than one train) ?
2) How long is the train journey from Budapest to Simontornya?
3) At what intervals will there be shuttle bus service from Simontornya station to Ozora (like once in morning, once in evening or once every 2 hours etc.) on 8th August ?

Hi Bubble or anyone from Ozora crew! (and everyone else of course)
Really looking forward to first time on Ozora..I think we are so eager to go we are going to be there a bit earley. When does the shuttlebus start going? Anything on the 6th of Aug? Any other way of transport there if it hasnt start going? We are coming by train to Budapest..
And best of luck with all preparations,..

hi,
on the following link u can find the timetable of the train from budapest to simontornya with direct connection. it goes 4 times a day and the duration is ~ 1.5 hrs.

okay the direct link is not working... so:
train schedule from Budapest "Deli" train station to Simontornya at 08.08.2007:
1. leaves: 07:30 / arrives: 09:10
2. leaves: 12:45 / arrives 14:27
3. leaves: 15:30 / arrives 17:03
4. leaves: 17:45 / arrives 19:54

Well lets hope there is busses then from budapest. Many people will arrive aften 18 in the airport.

ALSO A SHUTTLE BUS WILL LEAVE FROM DOWNTOWN BUDAPEST (Hero's Square) TO OZORA IF NEEDED!!!

Is there a public bus service from Ozora or Simontornya to Lake Balaton (e.g. Siófok)?
By train it would take at least 3-4 hrs... |
