The websites says the ticketprice from now to the 31st of May is 42€ but Access All Areas charge 33Ł which according to my calculation is a little more - is this the cheapest/only place to buy tickets over the web?

Another question similar to a previous one: We also arrive on the 7th at 6 pm - wouldn't it be wiser to get a hotel in Budapest for the night? Or is there shuttlebuses going to the festival at that time?

Hello,
Yes the only two options you have is either Mushroom magazine or Access All Areas !!!
Both will charge a few euros for their services or mail.(which ever?!)

I would say your best choice would be to find a place in Budapest for the night and go ahead with the train from the South Train Station (DELI PALYAUDVAR) to Simontornya the next morning !!!Budapest is a beautifull city anyways.

We are still trying to get a company that would do a shuttle service from Budapest to the festival ,perhaps stoping in the middle of the city and at the airport .But that is still just a project!!!

The official festival shuttle goes only from the Simontornya train station which is about 8 kms away from Ozora !!!(for each incomming train there will be a shuttle bus so you will have a place for sure.)

How to get there:
If you are traveling from any western European country to Hungary the easiest way is to pass through Vienna, Austria and pass the border at Hegyeshalom ! Or If you are traveling from the North crossing through the Czech Republik the only difference is that you must bypass Slovakia and come through Bratislava and towards Hungary. Then just reapeat the following steps which will first guide you through Győr . plan your route with www.viamichelin.com (destination should be Simontornya)

There is only one problem with this festival:
there is no possibility of getting any sleep for the 5 nights.
It is all too good. I cant believe it.
