Hello friends!!!
I have just bought an ozonic firewire card/controller. It comes just with a 6-6 pin firewire cable, and my notebook only has a 4 pin port.
So I bought a 6-4 cable, but im always receiving a message like: Ozonic Firewire not found etc etc..... It usually starts working, but after some time it just lose its connection with the computer...
In my friend computer (6 pin native port) it works perfectly!
does anyone had any problem like this? how to solve? what is the possible problem? Does pcmcia firewire 6 pin port cards works well?
thanksss!!! |

it suddenly stops playing music? and when you restart the device, it works again?
then you most probably have a power disturbance by another device, like heating, fridge, air-dryer, or even old lamps (neon). if the light dimms down for a piece of a second, and the sound is off, then you may have this problem. does your device have an ac or dc power input? if it is dc, you can build some circuitry using condensers, if it has ac power input, the circuitry is inside your device which makes it a bit more difficult to tweak yourself.
but there might be hope:
an ac line filter might help, or an online ups. i wish you good luck! |
