does anyone have any suggestions for another controller that is as compact as the Oxygen 8 and is the same or less in price. also, usb connection would be great too. any help or suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

I have a evolution MK-125, and it's ok, but I have the impression that the Oxygen8 is better.
I would like to upgrade to the Korg Micro Control really, but it's a bit more expensive.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

I think m-audio have come up with a newer version more compact and better lookin than oxygen 8 ...i think it's called O2.Guess it's much more expensive though...
On the other hand the pcr series by edirol is surely better than oxygen 8 and comes in a good price 2
(PCR-30 is the serie's alternate to oxygen8-still has 8 faders +buttons +memory that Oxygen lacks and make it aaaa looot better for your money)            Peace, Love, Death metal

Hey guys...

I'm going to by myself a midicontroller setup soon, and I think I will go for this:

Evolution U-33

and
Radium 40

I have just started working in a shop that specializes on music production hardware/software, an these to in combination is a killer for sure!

But, the one to rule them all, is this. Heavy as hell tough, not what you could call portable...:
Keystation 88 Pro

At the moment I'm lookking for a small midi controller myself. check out this 2:
1. M-Audio Ozone
2. EDIROL PCR-1 (similar to the PCR-30)

they are both 2 oct controllers, and they both come with a 24bit soundcard (extra necesary in my case...)

cheers...           Out Here We're Stoned....
