hi!

as you can see on the picture i want my kick double/quart (1/32, 1/64) im my track.
but if i place the audiofile, they are overlaping each other and it cuts off the other kick.

anyone can tell me, how i get 1/64 kick in my track (without this cutoff effect)?

greetings, orgy

Uhhh..

Just shrink the kick on overlapping divisions..

or

Use a sampler like Battery/Kontakt, they allow overlapping hits. Won't sound very good though.

Don't expect any bass from the initial hit of the kick. The smaller you make it, the more clicky it gets.

hi, if i shrink the overlapping part, its the same... because it dont plays the whole kick, only until the cut.

is there a sampler what can play my kick-audio-file?

there is nothing bad with this, if they would overlap you would get some bad interferences in the low end.

if it clicks, just use short fade outs.           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

its like a short volume automation to silence, which is fixed to the audioregion.

but better ask a cubase guy about how to do it there exactly           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

This is what you want. If it played the full kick length in a roll like that you would get an huge volume peak. The roll would be way too loud and it would just sound bad. You don't want the kicks to overlap!

Make the kick clips in the roll shorter and fade out the ends of clips by grabbing the red thingy at the right top of the clip and drag it a little to the left so that there is a fade at the end of each clip. (So that there are no clicks).
