It was pretty nice all in all.
Bim, as expected, gave an awesome set.
Exanimo's live was kick ass.
But his DJ set sucked big time imo.
Not many ppl in the party, beautiful location, poor infra-structure.

Have to agree with you Luiz.. dj bim was very good, i liked the end of his set, that he played at most prog. tunes... he know how to mix. Exanimo live was great, and yes, his dj set was bad, except the last 5 tracks, that he did a good job.

I must say that Bim is one of the best dj I ever seen playing. Perfect mixing tecnique, nice playlist. GREAT!!!
Exanimo is not that good. As a producer heīs great, with greats tracks. But as a dj heīs really bad. I didnīt like his set, even playing some tracks that I really like. But a nonsense set imo. And his mixing tecnique is not that good too...
Poor infra-structure didnīt make big difference, cause it was a kind of pvt. But a Medium Label Party must have a better infra...
Well, I liked the party at all. :)

my sincere opinon: BIG disappointment...

Yeah guys..i was quite dissapointed too..And i also agree that a label party,must hav a better structure.The organization did not make nice on that one..:(

I know about all problems our party had, and none of them were my fault at all, I was very pissed off (more then anyone) with the lack of infra structure there but...i Think the Line Up and Sound System was one of the BEST lately....and Im VERY SAD to realize that people here in Brazil gives more attention to fashion than to music!!!!
People here prefer to listen a POOR Line up in a famous rave than listenning KILLER Artists and DJS in a starting project....ITS A SHAME!!! And, I feel very sorry for those who didnt care about seeing BIM playing while he stayed here in Brazil, u lost a great opportunity to watch one of the BEST in the world!!!
People in Brazil`s Psy Scene needs a LOT of education about Trance still....=/

I agree to Setherialīs statements. MOST of the people who attend to parties & clubs here, (when I mean MOST, say, at leat 80%) havenīt a clue whoīs playing, whatīs playing, the majority knows Rica (by name), VOR (by name), GMS (by name) and Infected (by name). And the vast majority really doesnīt care, as long as there are chicks, drugs and some sort of loud music beating the shit out of them. But I also have to agree to Christianīs...The parties neeed to deliver any promised infra-structure. |

Well Guys, I must disagree with you on that. It's funny to read that kind of coments about people don't knowing where they're spending their time and money. It's very common to listen that brazilian's have no memory, that we keep making the same mistakes time after time. Can't you guys (EB and Seth) figure what happend? People just thought abou last of Lipe's incurssion on making parties: Digitallis, Wicked, Full Moon. What we saw there? Garbage all over, poor deco, a huge crowd, plenty of cars being stolen...
What are you tring to say Seth, that the only thing that matters is the line-up at a party? Keep on witj that and you'll have a great future as party producer 8)!
We also keep reading that what make's a good partie is the people, the vibe etc and etc...So now what? The very opposite? Well Eletronic Bungalow, this is a first for you, but you're contradicting yourself.

Not quite, Hardcore. Iīm learning, I have no crystalized opinions. I talk to people at parties, EVERY party, trying to learn what they think about the sound, djs, music "et" all...And they know very little about it. This has nothing to do with my feeling about my fellow ravers, which remains the same, with or without musical knowledge, drugs or no drugs, they, altogether with those magical sounds are SOLELY responsible for that unique and wonderfull feeling we happen to sense...Musical ignorance, drugs usage, makes them no better or worse for me, from the Human standpoint, and, the rationalia behind our parties lies mainly on a celebration of Life, the unison feeling of fellowship, and to a certain extent, spiritual togetherness... |
