hey Geom3,
just commenting the track with my very personal opinion..I may be picky, actually I am but I am with myself too so it's easy to be it always..and as makus said if we, producers, are not picky or try to be perfect we dont grow..this is the energy that push me ahead.
anyway, makus yes I think the part at 4:04 -4:40 it does not make justice to all previous section which are beatiful

maybe the term "static" is not really correct, as in a different mood( like in a party) that part could be just perfect..this is the eternal question that I ask always to myself "where is the line between hypnotic and static ? "

for example, when I smoke in the studio I have the impression that my tracks flow perfectly...the day after, they don't sound so nice actually they sound static...now, the quetion is "which one is correct ?both?", please help me to find the answer
anyway I talked too much I hope I made some constructive criticism

from my exp its somewhere in between, rocknroll startswhen you understood/learned how to take the best parts from both worlds. because when high not everything one does is instantly cool and art, it is not a creative panacea

i have to say, i normally dont really listen to downtempo stuff like this so i am not that familiar with the genre specifics....

but this tune really made my head bounce around on my shoulders while typing this comment =)

wow just now the beat changed nice ^^

would love to hear this at a nice outdoor afterparty man. keep up the good work!

i am very fussy and almost never satified lol ... in fact i am the biggest Hippocrit here .... how ever.... if u change the snare that new snare may now address other issues , then no dout ul have to change the new issues so on and so on lol - which leads to a desk chair arse ache lol

haha well yes that might happen and to escape this in my case i will just copy snare sample from the break beat loop to a new track and process it a bit different.
