Boings & Tickles is a whimsical and playful collection of downtempo songs by Outolintu (Jürgen Sachau), a veteran of electronic music production in Finland and a founding member of Haltya. A pair of remixes by Rip Van Hippy and Skomm maintain the quirky, experimental, genre-defying vibe of the release while taking the originals in distinctly new directions. Expect to hear a bewildering medley of funky broken beat rhythms, jazzy themes, and peculiar sound effects. This sampler also contains the original 2005 version of Human Boing, a song that was later remixed and released on Odd Man Out, Outolintu’s full-length debut from 2007.
