Hi Isra Freaks

I'm moving to Crawley next September, and i want to know how is the outdoor sceene in UK.
Here in Portugal there are plenty of outdoor partys, and they last till 6pm sometimes. How does it work there in the island?
For what i know discos and night life close very early.. does it happen the same way with the outdoor partys? Oh, and are they legal, or NOT?? hehe

peace

The UK has incredibly strict licensing & Health + Safety laws - which means getting official permission to do outdoor parties is next to impossible.. that doesnt mean there arent any outdoor parties- just that they arent widely advertised & tend to be of the "call a mobile number after 11pm for directions" variety.

A lot depends on the local police as well - near where I live the Police are pretty easy going and its rare for party to get shut down (as long as nobody is being kept awake by the noise) - but a lot of parts of the country the Police are actively looking out to close parties down.

Best thing to do is to chat to people at indoor parties over the winter (outdoor season normally stops about Sept) and you'll soon find out whats going on.

No you will not find any decent parties happening legally over here thanks to our wonderful government and police. But it depends where you are and whether they find you or not, you're best off partying in Wales.           Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day.
