Hoping to tap into the knowledge regarding building an out door rig.
Last year it was simply a set of active mackies and a borrowed generator 
With promotions going well etc..we are now in a position to purchase a 'real' RiG.
Obviously looking at a passive setup with the standard 2 Subs / 2 mids / + horns and monitor.
The main issue at the moment is purchasing a generator and also the power management side. We used to have a chap [called genny boy  ] who handled this but he is no more 
I have read a few debates on Petrol Vs Disiel [question has been asked can we get one to run on bio-fuel] etc..but my main concern is last year on the borrowed generator @ the last party sound started cutting out. On investigation it was the CDj's erroring out - but they both were doing the same thing at the same time - only thing in common was the generator.
So what is the deal with power conditioners and such like. I have done some googling but the line becomes blurred as end up and some construction/enginerring site.
No point in have a phat rig only to have the generator nuke everything.
We are only looking at a small rig [2-5k ]
