I know Greece suffers from no outdoors at all, which is pretty weird to me.
I mean trance in Greece has its audience.

When I travelled to Samothraki, I took a 16 hour train (which was hell), and I could see all of that beautiful nature u have that is still vergin and sterile.
So how come u don't have outdoors? I know u've got police problems, but still. U can make it far enough from people's eyes and ears, and underground enough.           Majority is never right!

Heyy,,
Indeed we have some killer locations...BUT,,,
first of all its too cold at this time of the year to throw an outdoor in the woods or at a beach....and F*#$@o
police off course is a biggg problem if u want to make something big like the old days....
Between May and September though ,there are small private outdoor parties happening all around Greece for sure ...

ps=If u come to Samothraki next year try to use the Macedonia airport<Thessaloniki>.Much closer to Alexandroupolis and u avoid that irritating train!

Yes police doesnt allow any outdoor parties at all and its not very good to get arrested for having such a party because they charge you with a lot of things that you might even dont know....

Many private parties take place though with crowds of 50-100 people at many places in Greece.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Come on guys do not be so paranoid, police cannot arrest you if it is an one off event in a place that does not have a history of parties.
They will come to see what is happening and the most they can do is ask for the party stop and maybe bodysearch a few people.
It is a big operation for the police to come and start arresting people and they dont have the time to do it if they find out about the party when is happening.
If they know about the party in advance or they have a history with the organizers then it is a different story.
I know about parties been busted in the past but i believe things have changed.
Especially after the festivals, the situation is not so tight.
In the past the only feedback police had was from the media branding parties as satan's orgies on drugs, and maybe they were believing it.
But now their undercover agents been to parties and 've seen for themselves what is really happening, police has developed a tolerance.
I was searched by a police block before a festival and they even wished me to have a nice party.
As far as i know there isn't a Greek law which forbids outdoor parties as there is a special law in england which forbids any gatherings of 14 people or more.
Offcourse greek police will not allow an outdoor event that has a door price because the organiser is avoiding tax and there are many laws about it.
If it is a free event were people behave themselves and someone can talk politely to the police to prove that things are running smooth and safe for the people and the enviroment and provided that the policeman in charge is logical then i dont see a problem. I know i sound utopic but you have to fight for your freedom but who wants to be a hero?
I hope things get better because no festival with a zillion names in the line up can beat the atmosphere of a free outdoor party.

Garfu is Korfu (Kerkira) ?

Outdoor gatherings are not allowed in Greece anymore as far as i am concerned and it is not very easy to organise one without being noticed.
From what i know though private parties do take place in some homes and private areas.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Why you did not tell him "oi vides dikes moy einai aplos tis exo afisei ligo laska"
This private party story gets not so exciting with only 50 people , there are some nice moments but you need at least 100 so that there is action on the dancefloor.
Still the prive can be a fun weekend in the countryside .

Merry christmas people and a happy new year
