you got some latency problem. do you work with asio driver?
b.t.w you can drag your midi a little bit back in time to make it more precise |

Hi billy ambulance
Thank you for your reply
My latency is set to 10ms so that’s not the problem and my midi is as fast as any other midi .but I still have a small delay as it is a normal thing with external synth or audio sources (but I want sample accurate timing if possible) .My question is how do I set cubase to have an automatic delay compensation when I open a new track? How do I calculate how much delay I have until the signal gets to my time line in cubase? And where are the delay parameters on cubase so I won’t need to drag the track backwards every time?

I have this problem too, usually I'll record my loop and then drag them back until they are in sync.
I've heard that you can figure out the delay time and set Cubase to automatically compensate, though I haven't been able to figure out how.
Any heavyweights want to tell us how it's done? |
