well i found this very cool thing i didnt know wher to put at so i think it belong here 
Out of Body Travel
this thing is very cool.. the idea is that u can
(by help of meditation) to leave your body
in your mine like .. been aware to your dream.. but in this "Out of Body Travel"
its to do at when you aint sleeping...
the mening of "ASTRAL PROJECTION" is
"Out of Body Travel"

Well Toxical, yes.
It´s possible and hv being praticed by ascets all over the world with or without entheogenic help.
What ur link says thought is very close to castaneda´s innorganic beings, or allies... But he has a more skeptic approach to them... Not skptical in the meaning of not believing them, but not trusting on them if u catch what I mean...
The presentation af an archangel and a contract(!!!)... Well for me names and rituals are an effective way to attune ur cognitive sistem... Suposebly u shouldn´t need them thought...
Seting a place and time seems to me only effective as things will appear to u, but if u manage to suceed, using a innorganic being´s help... U could be in any frequencial dimension of the multiholoverse...
Well, if anyone should try this, good lucky to all Newbie Astral Dwellers hahaha

i read about it a few years ago on the net and practiced the meditation and chakra exercises and lo and behold after a few nearlys I managed to conciously project, and intrestingly ended up on the ceiling...at that time i had just got to uni and was going out alot and taking drugs so I thought better than to mix it together....i figured i had the rest of my life to fully explore it...now i'm abit more calmed down, i feel this might be a cue to explore it again!!
There were a few times when i was stoned and in a light sleep in the mornings that it happened by itself, and i had a few strange times having the perception of flying about the room quite forcefully....also waking up paralysed sometimes which was wierd...but apparently that just the bodys mechanism for stopping it going walkies while asleep...anyway happy travels keeep in touch x |

i have one friend who is able to do it. but you must try a lot. she read a book about it, then after practising some was able to do this. i will certainly try but i dont feel ready now.

meditation, oobe's, lucid dreams...it s hard to different it isn t it ?
...well after muchos practice, i ve managed to get certain state of minds without use of any drugs...(hypnotic/monotone) music is enough...in some years i ll be able to do without any "help" i hope =(-X
after 20 to 30 min ( don t moving is necessary for me. -sitting or lie...a position where u can rest without "use of muscles" ) i don t feel my body anymore...onyl my breath and heartbeat ( it gets slower...if i m in deep meditattion, it s around 32-35 cycles ( normally around 40 if i sleep or rest for some time )).
when i m on travel, i feel nothing. even my heartbeat and breath i don t feel all the ime...u get one with the things around u.
such travels really depends on time...10 min to 1 hour, i m at full consciousness and still not...
if i m moving, i m out ( i m able to control my body all the time...usually i get out of trance like this. move a finger or the big toe...)
...well it s complicate to explain...such stuff is already hard to explain in german...and on e...
all i can say is that meditation is a very important part to recover for me...
...be conscious unconscious...

Yes my friends, there is much that can be acomplished... lucid dreaming is very powerfull, beware thought... astral projections are also quite real, beware... I hv managed to do moderate succes on both, and it´s some freakish occurences I might add... Now adays I´m more inclined towards seen the energy as it flows, before it condenses into raw matter... it´s kind of fun...
remember my friends, u do not control your mind, it 'imagines' the whole universe (multiholoverse) as it creates ur own self at each moment... maybe this shouldn´t be the place to talk about this...
