Damn Colin. I remember some old tracks you guys made back in the day, I think Kundalini as OOOD and that 12" off Flying Rhino as Unconscious Collective which my friends and I still play from time to time for nostalgic reasons. Listening to them I would have never thought it was made with just software? Hats off to you.

Thanks for the kind words But think on this: Kundalini and the Fluorostani EP were made in the mid-90s, before working in digial audio was affordable for anyone but the bigger commercial studios. Plugins hadn't been invented! Those tracks were made with an all-MIDI setup; I didn't start using Cubase VST until 1999. I'm afraid I don't have any photos of the Stooodio as it was just before we made the transition.
Neotech - you're right about Ott's golden ears. Definitely one of the best engineers I've ever worked with - and his programming's not too shabby either! And best of all, because the magic is in him rather than the equipment it means that it's possible for those of us who don't have as much hardware as even he does to develop our skills to the same degree.
