Absinthe,Hookah's , OTT and Medisin , sounds like a recipe for psychedelic sloppiness on the dance floor !!!
I am honored and excited for this show, Ott has been one of my favorite producers of Psy Dub and chillout for many years .. There are 2 electronic/jam bands as well , one of my favorite here in the south Sci-Fi , these guys are damn good... I just checked out the venue , and it is amazing .... This is going to be a great show !!! |

After Bluetech's performance in LA last year, would sure be nice to chill with the sounds of OTT this year

Not sure where, but Fayetteville's original and EXCELLENT livetronica band Eckobase will be joining Ott
Believe Eckobase has been around since 96', dubbing themselves originally "organic trance and drum and bass", these guys have some of the tightest chops and highest energy of any band I've ever seen.... they run the gammut from extremely fast idm/jungle (VERY few sampled drums, only used to accent) powered by their drummer Clayton, with stops in acid house and wonkity-womp breaKbeats. all the way to 16th note basslines and all sorts of wacked out and funky psytrance fueled by Matt Jenkins, formerly DJ Somebodhi of Esoteric Generation. These guys are gonna be all around this summer with bands like the Disco Biscuits, whom they stack up WAY beyond musically, so if you get the chance and hear/see their name on a bill, do yourself a favor, check these guys out (I'm not a band member or anything, but these guys really do stand far and away from any other "livetronica" act in my mind....more like 5 Squarepushers than 5 rockstars, and they are my friends)
