There are a bunch of trackers and midi sequencers for linux. But i suggest you to stick with your Windows or Mac OS, cos all these Linux Aps are not really compatible with most midi hardware or as powerfull and resoucefull like some famous progs out there. And trust me i've tried quite a few |

Nicolas, you should read a bit more about linux audio ...
As you can see in linked posts we've been with the hand near the heart of the issue. Linux Audio took a great step forward with it's use of ALSA - Advanced Linux Sound Architecture. At a moment all newer linux systems using it to work with Audio IO, which of course making it possible to develop more and more open source audio software.
