well we all know about the wonders of the
waves pluggins...and i use them for some
time...but using them constantly and mostly them, makes the carectaristics (or how ever the hell you write it...)of there sound very
obviouse...and it becomes abit boaring to the
ear...what other good sound proccesors can
you recomend...im looking for an eq that puts
air into the sound and dosnt make it sound
harsh...or a compressor that gives a speciefic warmnes but in a very subtle way...
or basicaly any other sound processors besides waves that sound good!

cheers!

Try the Ultrafunk Sonitus (now Cakewalk) plugin pack.
I'm absolutely in love with the compressor there, and it also have some nice effects such the phaser and modulator, each with their own character.

Also try the TC Native Bundle, good compressor for sidechaining your kick & bass.

Definetly try Sonalksis EQ and comp. Their eq sounds alot better than Waves Renasissance EQ!
The compressor is also very nice but the Waves Renaissance comp is just as good imo. Also try the free Blockfish compressor.

For me Sonalksis sucks, this plugins sound like shit, and are very cpu unfriendly and have a unfriendly GUI.

Ultrafunk Sonitus plugins are quite good, if u use fl u can use the build-in plugins which are mostly made by Ultrafunk

I also like Spinaudio and Elemental Audio plugins.            Signature

Sonalksis won some titles , right but i wonder how you hear the difference between EQ sounding(lol psy forum i just forgot) .

Orik i would advice you to use , Tc Works Native as Mike said it has much easier way of side chaining than Waves with must be same quality or processing since both companies are large .
