you can run OSX86 on an Intel i915g with a P4 prescott... a PC.

It is possible to run on any PC almost using VMware.
but if you want smooth native operation, you will need the chipset I mentioned.

Anyone tried it? If its workin then its superb! I was thinking to buy a g5 but its a lot of $$$.
edit: the guy on the site pavel said uses an Amd 64 3200+ (both for native and vmware instalation..) +-+talking with ali3ns around the universe+-+

It is also possible to run it natively on other systems, but you will have certain probs to patch.
There are many guides, many ways to do it.
and as I said, it's working - for alot of ppl. hence: it's TRUe

heheh off course it iss , this is the biggest move from apple
they want to kill pc's eheheh what they want for what i understand , is create new generation of apple running on diferente partition diferent OS , like OSX , windows , linux , etc in the same machine , something that pc can't do it pc can only run some linux stuff etc , and now with the intel chip on it , will be much bether to work on any aplication on just one osx running on real time or more than one OS running in real time .. thats a mothafu*** move eheheh

Well actually now you can run every single operating system (that I'm aware of) on pc. On ppc platform (that apple is going to dumb in the near future) you can run some *nix distros and mac os x ofcourse. Actually it was possible to emulate OSX on Windows before too.

hmmm... they're not likely to kill the PCs i think they're struggling to sutvive spreading their market but they're doing some risky stuff! If they upset gates MS will eat apple in a minute.
The OS market is a very complex one... a bit like swinmming with the sharks...

on my opinion they are tryeing to kill Microsoft,
as you know, the most of the pc's all over the world use Microsoft Windows operateing system's so now Apple, that saleing few machine's and operateing system's (compare to the PC's and to Windows or Linux) try's to earn more money and to reach more of the finance chunk all over the world....
think about it...
