I have a serious problem!
I just changed midi interface to a emagic mt4( I use to use a midisport 4+4) And now I have some problems! The problems is that Something in my system is sending weird midi messages. (I use Logic 6 platinum!) So everytime I go to matrix and then edit window,I see that instead of just see the notes that I have played, I see about thousands different kinf of control changes and also that it seems like I have used the pitch bend like a thousand times, everytime I have pushed down a note. One of my friends told me that all of this could be a problem with OMS and OSX! But the thing is that mt4 uses coremidi and not OMS as the midisport does!
So last night I throwed all of the OMS files in the trashcan. But the thing is that the problem is still there. Please help me out because soon I will go crazy!!

I've had some serious problems with OMS and my amt-8...
amt's & oms just don't go together well...
Since u don't need oms....throwing them out is a good thing...
Is it sysex controller data that u see apearing?
U can switch it off in logic...
What synths are connected ?
hmmm....i don't have a real solution for u...i'm still in os9....btw...osX, doesn't need oms at all...
Did u instal the osX drivers for the amt ?

Here's a link 2 a forum for all emagic produkts.
I'm sure there's someone there who can answer your question...they helped me out several times.....Good Luck !!!

I had the same problem with my Midi interface on the M-Audio FW410... This worked for me:
Try looking in the midi control Panel under OSX (if you cant find it, use OSX's help to point you to where it is exactly)
try deleting all Midi setup (I guess it's relating to your old setup) and just re-define the setting to fit your needs...

Hope this helps..
