i heard oryx-sergio about 3 days ago, anyway the sounds there soundes very, very familier like its a rmx or something... anyway i am just trying to remember where are those sounds from for a couple of days now and its just stuck on the tip of my tounge... 
so if you know what am i talking about please share...

well maybe you are confusing it with a Reefer Decree track? i say that, because Oryx is Oliver from reefer decree - so i guess there might be a similar sound between the 2 projects...

hey Hardon, I don't know if you remember this but I gave Kobi this track maybe a year and a half ago (we heard it that night driving in Ido's landrover, remember?). It was changed around alot by the time it was released it wasn't called Sergio then, but its basically the same track just in horrible quality. See if he still has it.
I never knew that this guy turned into Reefer Decree later on. Pretty big change, Oryx had lots of guitars no?

Oryx (Oliver's solo project) had a track releaseed on Tabernathe, the first compilation from Iboga, back in 98. it was called Once upon a time. today you can find a remix of it on the new Oryx 12" on Tatsu. and Sergio really reminds me of Reefer Decree's Night Session.

Yeah the bassline in Sergio and the tickly noise arrays are very much like the material in Reefer Decree's debut album (soundframes) and i totally agree that it sounds like another mix of Mortal Wombat II.
Jiwook (other half of Reefer Decree) is at my place in Milan at the moment and we'll be performing in a few Milan openairs as well as a nice summer solstice festy in southern italy (Umbria - 21-23 June) - if any of you are around drop me a line for more infos.
