if u like dead can dance check out HELIUM VOLA. electronic meets middle ages. instruments like recorders augment latin and german male and female lyrics. sweeping well constructed counterpoint melodies all to a fusion of electronic sounds. Its a bit gothy though, but so is dead can dance.
Something else thats fantastic is gotan project. sorta loungey electronic deconstructed tango. Technically superb.

Everything after to me..is the SAME SONG by different artists. Yesterday, i was listening to 7 songs from hallucinogen, they were all the same song with a diffrent kick, lead sound, and melody. Everything else was identical.

Hmmm... isn't that a bit self-contradictious? (Spelling)...
If the melody, the lead and the kick is different, then it's not the same track... Did you try and listen to any rock? It's the same freaking instruments... Drums, bass, guitar, vocal and keyboard...

IMO rock is just the same as it was in the 70's. Just with an upgrade on sound quality...

Personaly, i never make tracks for the dance floor. they are meant to listen to. They don't convey a message either...they effectivly have no 'purpose' other than for people who like them..to enjoy them.

It really depends on the listener... If you are at a party, then you hear the music, if you sit at home, with your headphones on, you are listening... And just to name some tracks with some messages:
Sun Project - What comes next
Sub-6 - Underground
Liquid Soul - 6AM
Liquid Soul - Crazy people

I suggest you just go start producing pop music, if you need to have some screaming girl whining about some guy that dumped her...           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

some nony psytrance groups that in my mind are steps beyond trance in originality even though they hold strong influences in their sound

MATMOS - these guys are just in a different league every track is art. They made an entire album using sounds they recorded from his dads plastic surgery practice.

Secret Cheifs Three - Possibly influenced by every genre. They will smoothly change from elavator music to doom metal to ethnic dance your ass off music to electronic you get the point they also made an epic classical album. MY stand out favortie is horsemen of the invisible im actually gonna be dropping this track in some dj sets this summer. You know you dont have to play psytrance on the main stage

The song coyote by martin rev -

just sit back smoke a bit and listen straight through

The comedown band - unholy is my favorite http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=40611922

CAN - old prog rock bacnd with neo tribal influence(neo for the 70's)

theres soooo many more let me look

If you are having problems with people not wanting to LISTEN to your music, then I would suggest that you change style...
Almost every person I know LISTENS to psytrance, and can tell me alot about each track... I don't know what people you meet or sociolice with, but it seems to me that it is your perception of your reality and your selfvalues that needs to be sorted...           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

I dont think listening, to music has lost its appeal its soooo enjoyable to reclin in a comfortable chair or lay in bead and get really, comfortable and put on a mix or classical score or a really amazing album, something of length so you can really get into it. rather than just hearing the, sounds speakers put, out you can, shut your, eyes (that its key) and really listen and feel what you are hearing. Even the slightest distraction like you forgot to jiggle the handle on the toilet and its still running takes away from your ability to listen. I have been profoundly move with this method while lying completely still. Think of it similar to sensory depravation but this is sensory isolation anything you can do to make it so that your only operating sense is your hearing. then i think that any who thought that music is dying will change their tune. most music today is experienced as background noise. you listen on your way to work or when you jog or when you are getting sexy or when you are driving somwhere. In order to enjoy music you have to devote some undivided attention to it. For this reason id rather have a floor be filled with people sitting there with their eyes shut than dancing around like fashion models, manimals, monsters, trolls, insects, trees in the wind, drunken hobo cartoons, landscapers packing grass seed further into the earth, lovers, livers, lizards on amphetamines, lunatics having seizures and faeries

I mean, cosmo did kind of do something different and original. It's not his fault everyone copied it... and it is really cool sometimes.

Your description of azax is hilarious though.

uh oh get ready !!
