I've been to more parties this year than I can shake a stick at.
Tho I don't usually shake sticks @ things...

I've been now living here in and out for about the last year..., it has been a bit up and down, however I am now practicing mantras, "I <3 Portland..., I love Portland..." and so forth. It has been serving me quite well, indeed!
There is some good people here, nice eats for the healthy organic, and vegan for that matter, along with some excellent political structure herein through out.
Aside from this, there is a trance scene, of course, small and delightful, yet ready to burst if it so may.
Mountains: lovely, nice, kind of cute (comparitively speaking), subtle, yet lovely all the same. You would be close to the cascades and if you wish for a more mountainous range, you can head north for Washington and there is many wonderful places there as well!
Another nice plus from living here, it is a nice commute from place to place. You are quite close to Mt. Shasta/California, the coast is not too far for oceanic enjoyment, Ashland is out there, somewhere, along with Eugene 1 hour, and Seattle only 3. For commuting, it is nice, and flights are workable for nice prices.
Yes, it is a nice place, and much is just around the corner.

Portland's indoor season is really heating up! We are lucky to have a bunch of great organizer crews throwing all sorts of cool parties. We now have THREE monthly parties all with their own slightly different flavour to them...and we have FUCKING PENTA coming next month!!!
So happy to be in the northwest
