ORB festival - rideshare/looking for ride/need advice :-)

1st.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows how the ORB site's rideshare operates,maybe i've missed something out ?

My summer plan :
I'm coming to US for a month to my lil sis's wedding. This will be my first visit to USA.
The summer plan by itself is traveling to Hungary for a week in the beginning of July(BAKONY Festival)(bye bye Israeli too hot summers), then on 8th of July arrive to New York,US. Take another flight to CA, and enjoy my family's company for 1 month. Then, back to Hungary for Ozora + more, and then in beginning of September back to Israel.
Now, i couldn't miss the fact that i'm arriving to New York on 8th of July, and on the 9th there's the ORB I'll have to check with my traveling agency if i can postpone the flight from NY to CA by several days, but i'll still need a ride(unless there are other options..) from NY to ORB.
Any advice on that matter please ?

On the other note, i was wondering how complicated will it be getting to the festival by public transportation.

Dude public transportation to Orb from JFK Airport? I dont think so
Hey man, i might go to the Orb Fest and as it happens i will be in NYC on that weekend first to see a friend visiting from outside the country. The only thing is that if i do go to Orb,I will only Leave NYC very early on Sat morning but i reckon thats good enough cuz i will catch the main action on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Let me keep in touch and maybe we can ride up together.
