Greetings Festival-Goers!
It seems like just the blink of an eye since we closed the book on Orb Festival 2009, yet a new year has already arrived. We are happy to announce the 4th annual outdoor gathering of Orb Festival taking place Thursday, June 10th through Sunday, June 13th 2010 at Ramblewood Rustic Resort in Darlington, Maryland!
This year we are planning a landmark edition of Orb Festival featuring the choicest electronic artists from around the globe in conjunction with remarkable installations and stage designs on a massive scale. Orb 2010 will host three stages of music including full psy, top underground minimal techno, and world music. As usual, festival goers can enjoy the beautiful Orb flea market, tribal drum circles, yoga classes, meditation, workshops, kids area, swimming, the Orb festival fire, and food court (including vegetarian and vegan cuisine).
Orb’s international crew is an energetic collection of specialists who are as talented as they are committed in the production of quality events. After seven years producing events in NYC and three editions of Orb Festival, our team has developed the professional experience necessary to deliver a well-planned and highly produced four day festival.
The 2010 location, Ramblewood Rustic Resort, is conveniently located less than an hour from Baltimore international airport , just over an hour from Philladelphia, and only three hours from NYC - tucked away in seclusion a half mile from the nearest roads.
This ideal location offers a wealth of well-maintained facilities for the enjoyment of our festival goers, including the Barn Theatre, Amphitheater, Big Top (with Dance Floor, Stage, and four Workshop Rooms) and the open-air Dance Pavilion with 4000 square feet of sprung flooring! Ramblewood also has multiple indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as the Olympic-sized swimming pool and diving Pool. Choose accommodations in the newly renovated cabins or set up camp under the skies of the extensive Ramblewood property… a serene and inspiring experience awaits us all.
Come experience the purity of nature and the divine waves of sound creating an amazing cosmic energy that brings people together. We are eager to gather the Orb family together once more; the circle grows with us, as Orb Festival reaches new heights in 2010.

it was worth the price last year (and spending the night in the airport because we missed our flight).
sucks that it's the same weekend as gemini though, would have loved to come back and check out the new location. Maybe the spot was booked up for the rest of the summer? Not sure why they chose this date... http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

Elnadiv + crew, can you please explain why, in a country as big as the USA, you chose this weekend of all weekends to hold your festival? The last thing the scene in any country needs is for two major festivals to happen on the same weekend, it splits the audience and does neither event any favours. Plus it just looks bad, you know? As if you're doing it deliberately to try and force the other festival out of business when you know they're recovering from a huge theft. Of course I'm sure that's not the explanation, so please let us know what it is.
For the record, my interest in this is that OOOD and Voice of Cod will both be playing at Gemini this year, and I personally was looking forward to seeing as many of my American crew there as possible, most of whom live on the East coast.

Don't worry, I'm sure all the people worth meeting will be at Gemini, anyway.
The reputation of the Orb as a festival doesn't hold a candle to Gemini. Gemini will clearly be the festival of choice to go to, the one that I would be going to myself if I had the money and time to go to either.

For everyone dissing Orb fest and its crew,its simple don't attend and save the negativity.
The circumstances surrounding Gemini are really unfortunate, but demanding an 'explanation' = hooliganism imo.
Next thing you know OOOD is demanding an explanation for the color of my underwear 
And next time OOOD is playing a party, all organisers in that town(I mean country) be prepared to explain if you planning another party  |

Also I DEMAND you disclose your underware color selections for the next month, in alphabetical order.
