1. Wrong section (workshop).
2. Needs prescense, high freq action with reverb and movement.
3. Needs more cowbell. |

Interesting track, well done but yes it needs more high freqs and you better use a psychedelic cowbell all over the track!

Yeah not bad at all, i'm sorry to put you comment here even its wrong section, and i know some of the guys will hate me, but i hope i wont support this will happen again..
Best idea could be just move these ''wrong'' threats to the right section by moderator, then we wont miss the comments nor music. But i have said it before, i think moderators use to be a bit lazy in this forum.. just my humble opinion.
Overall balance is even, but pay attention your individual instruments peaks while they eat a lot of dynamic room if you don't take care of them, so you have to use volume fader even more carefully and sometimes when its not enough you need compression/limiter. Also more advantage use of eq comes handy to save some room for others when your frequency range comes close to full. Also dont forget to spice your peaks for more sweet and smooth result. Tubes, exiters, so on.. there is countless ways.
Your ideas, and movement are working, just make them tighter and clear.
Also you need some proper mastering, save some money for that! And surf a few guys through so you know which one has same taste what comes final result.

Nice stuff. Yeah, wrong section. F#ck the cowbells. On your link, use http instead of https next time, so the widget appears.
Your intro lead with the arpeggio fades down with a LP filter until 1:07 - this starts out great, nice and simple for a track beginning it's good and you're using a lot of the frequency spectrum, but when the LP is closed down low there is nothing happening in the high frequencies of the tune, because it been cut out.
Here, I would suggest you try to fill in that gap, having another lead or even the same duplicated come in with a HP filter, that slowly opens.. you might want there to be a gap in the middle, but towards 1:07 it looses a lot of it's power (and you can see that in the gain.. just look at the soundcloud waveform!).
This disappears when you bring in the reverse crash but IMO it comes in a little too late.. so instead of the HP lead you could introduce your HighHat section that's coming in.. ex: play the HH loop with a LP filter opening revealing the sounds, and you could have the loop reversed to make it different, of fed through a reverb automating the mix knob from 100% to 0% and the volume coming up a bit so it seems the HH are coming in from far away, hey tons of things to do!)
@1:27 - you put in a pad to fill the sound up a bit.. you were playing maybe a trio of synths, each asking and answering each other, in an "ordered conversation", but without anything supporting them, and then you brin the pad in it's nice, but I think the pad could of been here all along, but start out very very subtle (filtering, eq, volume, reverb..) and then coming in at 1:27. Maybe not as loud.
@1:34 - when you have a break on your beat bus (kick+bass), your track looses it's low end - or better, it gains some space for you to use on the low end. If you are introducing a new lead, your can have a more dramatic effect and better feel if your take out your HP EQ on the new lead, thus allowing the lead to use the low end as it wishes. The lead sound will sound richer, the track will appear more cohesive in it's spectrum usage, and you can play around at this stage. Also, when the beat comes back you HP cut it again, but since the listener had an opportunity to listen to the lead separately he can better isolate and identify it, which is on of the many audio illusions, so you can actually make it a bit lower or cut out more frequencies, and the listener will still perceive the lead as if it was all there.
I think your closed HH need to be out more. Use a fattener on them (hard pan one side, delay it maybe 10ms to the other side), and compress them to bring up the gain a bit more.
@2:54 - it looses it's high end again. I think you might of automated the drums a bit lower, but I dunno..
@3:42 - there goes your low end again (I saw XSI this summer and that is one of my complaints about them: every single break, no matter how long it was, didn't have the low end). But here I'd suggest you put something with a low end there but that fades down, as you need the absence of low end so your booom at 3:47 has a bigger impact.
@+-4:07 - you could do some variations to your percussion, and introduce new perc sounds.. I sometimes might use two seperate drum kits, and have a little battle between them.
@4:54 - I wanted to have a low end here man! I though it was coming in with the kick but it's not there Nothing stops you from having a snare roll there, and another kick, as your original kick that pitches all the way up just takes a second to transform from a kick to a sound effect, leaving you with no kick! I say put that beat you introduce back there at 4:54, but with a LP way down just letting the beat pulse come out. Like a tribal dance deep in the woods, all the way back there.
@5:35 - Nice work there with the composition, I like this type of progressions and I think the sound design doesn't match up. An easy quick way of making the actual sound modulate and progress (IMO it should become wacky with some FM, with a filter with a high hard drive setting and 70% resonance modulated in with a distortion and saturation to taste) would be take this, bounce it to audio, load it into a sampler and start mangling with it as the sample progresses (but I wouldn't mess with the sample timing as the notes sound good where they are.)
@6:00 - Imagine you have a drummer in your project. A guy there who knows how to play the drums instinctively, and wants to express himself playing this track. He does a big boom, and then should start getting exited: you are raising the tension in this point. I think he would want to build up the beat in the most explosive way he can, which would mean fast and strong. So, imagine he is starting to explode, he starts trembling his drumsticks on the instrument in front of him (the kick and the snare), and gradually starts playing harder and moving his arms all over the place, ending up in what seems like Dr. Zoidberg doing a dance.. something a bit more interesting
For the rest of the tune, well I think you can figure that out
Just my 2cents.. hope it helps you out.

I have observed that online education is getting favorite because getting your degree online has become a popular selection for many people. A lot of people have certainly not had a chance to attend a normal college or university yet seek the raised earning potential and a better job that a Bachelor¡¯s Degree gives. Still other people might have a degree in one discipline but wish to pursue one thing they now develop an interest in.
