Hello everyone!
My name's Cooper. I'm a producer, DJ and English teacher from the USA, and I'm moving to Japan next week (!)
I'll be there at least until July, hopefully longer, and it'd be great to play some music for everybody.
I mostly produce bouncy dubstep/chill as part of the duo Naiad Daiad (http://soundcloud.com/naiaddaiad). Our first EP should be out in May on Dub Anomaly Records.
As DJ OpenSourceCode my sets can range from 70's dub reggae to abstract electronica to spine-crushing crunkstep, depending on the location, time of day, and the of course the crowd!
I'd love to come play your downtempo stages, and I especially LOVE playing outside.
Also, I'm just looking to have fun, go to some parties and meet some cool people. Where do I start??? As far as psy goes, I like it fast and weird, but I'm open to just about any kind of music at any time in any place.
