Hey guys, I was just thinking of different open airs that will take place on the east coast. This is not a full list certainly, but maybe rest of you can fill in...

- Gaian Mind Summer Festival in central PA (just passed)

- PSI NJ Open Air in Pine Barrens, NJ July 23

- Trance Dance Festival "CKA3KA", NY Aug 26–28

- Festival in NC? Is it happening this year?

- Festival in WV (end of summer usually)? Is it also happening?

last i heard, this was not happening this year, as Omnidance festival is also in september (3rd weekend i believe).

also, we (PSI) are tentatively planning another party in the pine barrens for the 3rd weekend of august (right before the TDC festival).          PSI - the Philadelphia Shamanista Initiative

Honestly, I think Pine Barrens parties are one the best one. I've been there numerous times and the vibe there is always great! Lots of nice people and awesome music! Great thanks to the organizers.

BTW, I've been always wondering... is there a "no fly zone" around the spot?

I don't know, I loved the barrens party I went to, but GM was awesome as well.

you can't really compare the two, imo. the barrens is a special place, no doubt, but obviously completely different from an international festival.

well comparing GM and barrens is like comparing orange and apples, i think. Both of the events are crazily good (except for nasty bathrooms and some other little things at GM). Barrens is a good getaway place for one night only.

The "Bridge" parties are outdoor events in NYC at top secret locations.... different than GM and pine barrens in that "bridge" parties are in the city and only last 24 hours or less.
