open-air parties in brazil??

Hey guys!!

A Swedish/Colombian traveler looking for a little assistance here...

It appears as I´ve ended up in Porto Alegre and will be traveling north against Salvador.

So I wonder if there is any kind soul reading this board that could hook me up with some party infos. I´m looking for open-air parties and laid back beaches to kick back at for a while.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance and on a sidenote, happy to be here in Brazil, seems really friendly!!

Here at the Brazil Section you'll find info on most parties here in Brazil. Also check the Festivals Section.

There will be a big festival in the end of the year, called Universo Paralello, check these two links about it:
